In Episode 11, we head to Mark Twain National Forest onto Glade Top Trail. We are working on putting our house on the market and have so much to do at home, but we couldn't resist taking the day off to hit the trails.
We brought along Ben's good friend Tyler who just recently moved back to our area and his family including four of his five children. Not yet being a Jeep owner, Tyler tackled the trails in his Chevy 1500.
After about an hour, Tyler and his fiancé Ashley started talking about adding a Jeep to their family. The challenge will be fitting 7 people into an off-road rig. We'll keep you updated on what they decide!
The rain today made the first part of our ride challenging as we weren't able to get out and explore as much as we normally do. Even getting out for lunch was a bit of a mess as we tried to put together sandwiches on the back of the Jeep. Once the rain cleared up, it turned out to be a beautiful day.
The scenery up here is beautiful up here, and there were so many great areas for the kids to play.
Getting the kids outside to experience these days is the best part of off-roading for me.
And exploring this beautiful scenery is a great bonus.
